After months of careful planning and execution by our A.O. Wagner Construction team and our repeat customer, Imperial Storage, we are pleased to announce that the final stretch of the new Lakeland site at 3909 South Florida Ave. has arrived.
Since kicking off in November 2024, we’ve kept you updated about the initial phases of our project and how the storefront and interior were taking shape. We are excited to share the final installment of how this compact 600-square-foot office space was transformed.
Bringing New Life to the Interior Office
The interior remodel has completely revitalized the space. All outdated finishes were demolished and replaced with fresh drywall, new laminate vinyl plank flooring, and base trim throughout.
A custom-built knee wall was also added to support the new StoreEase registration kiosk for user flow and functionality.
Then, new LED lighting and a bright, modern paint palette were introduced, dramatically improving both energy efficiency and ambiance.
Finally, the storage areas, including a new closet, were framed to provide employees with a secure and efficient office space.
Modern Exterior Enhancements Make a Bold Statement
It is pleasing to see that the transformation on the exterior is equally dramatic. A completely new TPO roof system was installed, providing long-lasting, weather-resistant coverage.
You will notice that the storefront entrance was replaced with a modern glass system, while new framing allowed for a bold architectural appearance.
Painted stucco and Berridge metal panels now cover the structure, giving it a clean and professional look that reflects Imperial Storage’s forward-thinking identity.
Final Steps: ADA Ramp for Safe Access to All
At this point, the only task remaining for our team is building the ADA-compliant concrete ramp at the entrance. That will guarantee safer access for all visitors. Once installed, the Lakeland location will provide accessibility, user experience, and a fresh new look.
