Since breaking ground in July 2024, our team at A.O. Wagner Construction has made remarkable strides at the Victory Ridge Academy campus in Davenport. What started as a bold vision for a brighter future quickly evolved into a foundation built for lasting impact.
From the early stages of vertical construction to major progress reported in the new year, the project has consistently moved forward since we last reported. As we look toward a July 2025 completion date, we’re excited to share the latest chapter in this project’s transformation.
Early Learning Center Final Touches Underway
The ELC is nearly complete, with finishes, flooring, and cabinetry in place. Wood doors and hardware are going in now. Next are the final building accessories, such as TVs, dry-erase boards, and bulletin boards. Up next are accessories and the exterior playground, just in time for students and teachers to walk through their doors for the first time.
Admin Building Takes Shape Inside and Out
As highlighted in other posts, the admin building’s bold exterior design makes a striking first impression. Its bright, vaulted interior matches its bold exterior. With drywall done and roofing complete, crews are finalizing systems and preparing for interior finishes. Painting and fixtures will soon bring this central hub to life.
Gymnasium Ready for Sports Features
The metal gymnasium building is now fully enclosed, with the roof system in place. Inside, prep is underway for installing sports equipment, with basketball goals going up first. The locker rooms and bathrooms are also progressing behind the main structure, CMU walls are vertical, and the TPO roof system is next on deck.
Campuswide Sitework in Full Swing
In recent weeks, site development has made a dramatic impact. Building canopies and concrete walkways are defining campus flow, while parking lots, bus loops, exterior lighting, and landscaping are being finalized. The campus is coming to life quickly.
