Kyra Solutions, a leading information technology services and consulting firm headquartered in Lakeland, has partnered with our A.O. Wagner Construction team to modernize its office space. The project focuses on creating a more open and functional environment by installing storefront glass walls, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, HVAC modifications, and upgraded lighting systems.
A primary goal is to create visually striking internal offices without compromising natural light or a sense of flow throughout the building. Full-height glass walls provide space while maintaining transparency between team members. The renovation spans both facility floors and aims to balance openness, privacy, and operational efficiency.
Modern Glass Office Installations
The new offices have been constructed using 5/8″ seamless glass panels. These panels are secured with upper and lower tracks installed to maintain openness while ensuring privacy. Furthermore, floor-to-ceiling glass doors have been installed, providing a sleek and modern appearance.
The staircase area has been enclosed using a storefront glass system that matches existing windows, enhancing safety and aesthetic appeal. The reception desk has also been enclosed with custom-cut glass panels to fit its unique contours, including installing a Speak-Thru device used when meeting visitors as they enter the reception area.
HVAC and Lighting Upgrades
The HVAC systems have been modified to accommodate the new office configurations, helping each space remain comfortable during office hours. The ductwork was rerouted to ensure efficient airflow throughout the restructured space. Lighting was upgraded to LED fixtures, providing energy-efficient and consistent illumination across all work areas.
In the downstairs offices, a 2-foot-wide, eye-level strip of frosted light film was applied to the glass partitions. This addition provides openness and any necessary privacy, allowing natural light to permeate while reducing distractions.
The additional upgrades were needed for the redesigned reception area and an enclosed stairwell using a matching storefront system. That design supports the office layout vision Kyra Solutions wants and expects at their headquarters. With a strong emphasis on aesthetics and function, this buildout is part of a broader effort to align the workspace with the company’s technological focus and growth strategy.
