Partnering with Jarrett-Gordon Ford again, our A.O. Wagner Construction team brought this project to life. What began as an ambitious plan on June 1, 2024, has now transformed into a state-of-the-art dealership and truck service center in Davenport.
Laying the Foundation Groundwork
As we moved into mid-summer last year, the essential foundation work was completed, and we had a concrete slab expertly poured, providing the vital structural base for what would become a 22,000-square-foot Pre-Engineered metal building supplied by Nucor Building Systems.
Rising Columns and Walls Take Shape
Soon after, the facility began to climb skyward as columns and end walls were set in place. The skeletal structure revealed the first true glimpse of the service center’s scale and ambition. Using the NBS frame, the strength and sustainability baked into every beam were evident, a true testament to smart design meeting solid craftsmanship.
Finishing Touches With Sheeting and Roofing
As winter approached, wall sheeting was completed, followed closely by the installation of a functional and sleek standing seam metal roof. It covered the 19 heavy-duty service bays, 3,000 square feet of interior space, and a steel mezzanine for parts storage. The only remaining steps were the interior and exterior updates before the grand opening.
Grand Opening: A Milestone Celebration
On April 18, 2025, we proudly gathered at 2600 Access Rd NW, in Davenport, FL, to celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Against a backdrop of sunshine, cameras flashed, hands shook, and the sense of achievement boosted our team’s pride for doing a great job.
The new facility is not just another service center. It’s a durable masterpiece and thoughtfully constructed hub for heavy-duty trucks, built to serve Davenport and surrounding communities for decades to come.
