Our A.O. Wager Construction team is moving ahead with remarkable momentum at the Victory Ridge Academy in Davenport. The Early Learning Center (ELC) recently received its certificate of occupancy just in time for the first day of school on August 11. Now with excited students and staff, the new building is fully operational.
Early Learning Center Now Open
The center is a vibrant hub already, with fun and colorful bulletin boards adorning its halls, a bustling bus loop lined with cheerful yellow school buses, and a safe, bright green turf playground that promises years of energetic play. One final improvement, the serving kitchen in the multi-purpose room, is currently under construction and should be completed very soon.
Admin Building Progressing with School Colors
The administration building is nearing completion. The entryway structure has been fully enclosed, giving the building its final exterior appearance. Soon, the steel support poles for the roof system will be painted in VRA blue. Inside, the reception area is taking shape with cabinetry and a solid-surface countertop in the same signature color. Millwork has begun in the clinic, and flooring installation is slated to start shortly.
Gym Structure and Roofing Taking Shape
Construction on the gymnasium continues to advance. The locker room facilities have progressed significantly. The roof joists and trusses are fully installed, and the TPO roofing membrane will provide long-term protection, durability, and waterproofing.
Campus Landscaping, Security, and Aesthetic Completion
Perhaps the most transformative update: the north parking lot, eastern road loop, southeast parking, and dumpster zones have all been paved. The center of campus has been landscaped with green turf, surrounded by sod, trees, and vibrant shrubbery. The fencing and gates for Phase 1 are now complete, ensuring strong perimeter security and an inviting aesthetic.

The refined attention to material selection, restorative landscaping, and color integration displays a cohesive campus design grounded in building science best practices. With Phase 1 wrapping upward and outward, Victory Ridge Academy’s environment is now energetic, secure, and ready.
