If you’ve been following the A.O. Wagner Construction blog, you’re already familiar with our project for Victory Ridge Academy in Davenport.
In our most recent update, we laid down foundations and did other preparations for three of the six buildings for this project. Now, we’re back with another update as we see the same three buildings starting to really take shape as we put up the framing and walls. Let’s check out our latest progress!
After setting and curing the foundation for the gymnasium, we were ready to start erecting the Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB), and this has really taken off. We’ve got the metal building columns and framing up, and we’ll soon be starting on the Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) walls to finish them by the end of the month.
The ELC is really taking off as well, with the CMU walls already topped off and ready to receive the metal roof trusses that have been fully constructed on site.
By mid-month, we plan to have the metal roof decking for the ELC installed, and then we’ll be ready for the dry-in to start right after. The exterior envelope of the ELC should be fully completed by January, after which we’ll start the interior work.
The admin building isn’t far behind the ELC. We already have the CMU walls up, and we’ll soon be putting up the metal roof trusses and decking, followed by the dry-in.
We’re making great progress on this project, and we’re so excited to watch this amazing new campus develop into a beautiful center of learning. We expect to finish the first phase of this project by July of next year.
