Aagaard-Juergensen, a company that specializes in pre-engineered metal buildings, recently hired us to help complete a couple of their projects.
Getting a Leg Up in Groveland
Our first stop was in Groveland, Florida. Aagaard-Juergensen called us in to assist with the erection of a new 150′ x 100′ pre-engineered metal building from Butler Manufacturing. They needed some extra hands for a couple of weeks to get caught up on their schedule, and we were happy to jump in.
Our crew got straight to work helping erect the columns and rafters.
From there, we moved on to installing the roof purlins and flange bracing, which are crucial for the building’s structural integrity. In the second photo above, you can see the skeleton of the building really taking shape, standing tall next to an existing structure on the site.
Sheeting and Finishing in Orlando
Next, we headed over to a job site in Orlando. The task here was different but just as important. For two weeks, our team focused on installing the wall sheeting on another pre-engineered building.
We worked with 26-gauge R-panel sheets, which we installed on top of an 8-foot split-face block wall. Our process involved framing out all the window and overhead door openings first. With the framework complete, we could efficiently install the sheets around them.
The final step, which happens after the sheets are up, is to add the window, door, and gable trim to give the building a clean, finished look.
We were happy to help the Aagaard-Juergensen team on these projects and proud to have provided the support they needed to keep their builds on track and on time.
