Today, we have two recent projects that beautifully showcase how well-designed structures will perfectly meet and exceed client needs. One is a protective canopy, and the other is an entirely fabricated in-house metal building.
Canopy Construction for CCA
A new canopy for Carpentry Contractors of America (CCA) is being constructed in Winter Haven, using a pre-engineered system from Dean Steel Buildings of Ft. Myers, FL. Its purpose is to protect stored lumber from weather, featuring galvanized R-panel roofing with the correct slope and gutter drainage. This structure is designed to offer accessibility and durability, with precise flashing and slope details to ensure long-term performance.
Multiple views showcase the project’s progress, from the underside’s tapered beams and roof purlins to the clean connections at the eaves. Ground-level shots show ample storage clearance underneath and a roll-up door at the far end, ensuring full access while sheltered. Completion is expected within eight days.
In-House Metal Building Addition
Our team recently designed and built a 25′ × 50′ addition to an existing metal structure, completing it in just three weeks. It features a 5-inch concrete slab, vinyl-backed insulation in the roof and three walls, and a complete electrical setup with eight high-bay lights, outlets, and two types of access doors.
The exterior features clean wall finishes, a gutter and downspout system, and a 5-foot front overhang for extra weather protection. Inside, it’s fully insulated and wired, ready for immediate use. That efficient design combines durability with long-term flexibility for various operational needs.
