A brand new private hangar is officially open at Lakeland Linder International Airport, giving Tooth and Plow Aviation a finished home built to the highest standard. A.O. Wagner Construction teamed up with Prestige Builders to bring this project to life. Our team was responsible for pulling the permit, overseeing the project, and managing day-to-day operations from start to finish.
About the Project
The build included forming and pouring the concrete slab and driveway, followed by construction of the new private hangar itself. The pre-engineered metal building, manufactured by American Metal Buildings, measures 130 feet by 90 feet with a 25-foot eave height, giving the space the clearance needed for private aviation use. Construction began in October of last year, and the project is now complete.
Interior Finishes
Inside, the hangar features 8-foot-tall linear panels installed around the perimeter of the building, along with vinyl-backed insulation in the walls and roof.
The ADA bathroom is outfitted with new fixtures, bathroom supplies, ADA accessories, LVP flooring, electrical, and HVAC, giving the space a clean finish. Just outside the bathroom, a utility sink rounds out the space with added convenience for day-to-day use.
