From the service bays to the second-floor offices, St. Pete Mitsubishi is getting a head-to-toe transformation. The A.O. Wagner Construction team has been hard at work since mid-September, and this update covers the full scope of what we accomplished across the entire facility. If you missed our earlier updates, catch up on our first post and second post to see the full evolution from start to finish. And now, we introduce you to the newly revamped St. Pete Mitsubishi in Seminole!
Restrooms Rebuilt from the Ground Up
The customer restrooms received a complete overhaul. New floor tile, fresh wall paint, updated base, brand-new partitions, plumbing fixtures, countertops, and bathroom accessories now give guests a clean, modern space that reflects the high caliber of the dealership.

Customer Service Lounge, Waiting Area, and Service Parts Desk
The customer service lounge got a meaningful overhaul. The old Formica countertops were replaced with new ones and paired with a new sink and faucet. In the lounge itself, the floor tile was pulled up, while the waiting area received a notable upgrade with luxury vinyl plank. This gave the space a warmer and more modern feel. The entire area got a coat of fresh wall paint to pull everything together. The doors were painted black to match the new finish touches taking shape throughout the building.

At the service parts desk, a new black countertop replaced the old one, tying the space into the cohesive design style running through the entire facility.

Service Area and Connecting Hallway
Both the service area and the hallway connecting it to the showroom received new floor tile, fresh wall paint, and a new base. The hallway also got a new bottle-filler water fountain, a practical touch that serves both staff and customers.

Showroom: New Floors, New Power, New Brand Wall
The showroom transformation is one of the most striking in the building. The team ran additional electrical throughout the space to power sales desks with phone and computer hookups, which is a practical upgrade that supports the day-to-day flow of the sales floor.

New floor tile and wall paint set the stage for a transformation, but the centerpiece of the showroom is the newly built brand wall, standing 10 feet tall at the front of the space. Constructed with custom ACM paneling, it houses an illuminated Mitsubishi logo along with built-in electrical receptacles that power a mounted TV and the front reception desk. It is the first thing customers see when they walk through the door, and it makes an wonderful first impression.

New Windows Connect Upstairs to the Showroom
One of the more creative elements of this renovation involved cutting into existing walls to open up sightlines between the upstairs spaces and the showroom below. A large section of wall in the employee breakroom was removed and replaced with a storefront glass window, giving staff a view down into the showroom floor. Another window was added in the neighboring owner’s office, creating the same feeling of openness and connection.

The Employee breakroom walls weren’t the only thing updated. The floor was fully replaced with Luxury Vinyl plank and received new LED 2×4 lighting throughout.

Employee Offices and Upstairs Hallway
Upstairs, the office hallway received new floor tile, cove base, and fresh paint. The individual offices were fitted with new carpet tile for a comfortable but professional feel. The elevator, which has been out of service for years, has been fully serviced, certified, and is now back in regular operation!

The upstairs hallway also received new carpet tile, fresh paint, cove base, and all doors were painted and fitted with new hardware.

Owner’s Office
The owner’s office has been updated with new storefront glass overlooking the showroom to give a great view of the sales floor. We also added a new wood base, fresh paint, and LED 2×4 lay-in light fixtures to brighten up the space. New Luxury Vinyl tile flooring is also planned for this space.

A Fresh Face on the Outside
The transformation doesn’t end at the front door. The dealership entrance now features all-new illuminated ACM paneling installed to meet current Mitsubishi finishing standards, and the building exterior has been freshly painted to match. The structure itself is unchanged, but the updated facade makes it clear something fantastic is happening inside.
