Completed in December 2025, this project converted an existing building into a functional, modern office environment, with approximately 5,000 square feet per floor. The new layout is designed to support the dynamic needs of their team, blending private workspaces with collaborative zones.
Planned for Collaboration and Comfort
At the heart of this renovation is the focus on versatile meeting spaces. The second floor features an open meeting area designed for forums and team discussions. This unique space showcases custom wallpaper graphics, varied carpet designs, and an acoustical ceiling to manage sound in the open environment.
For more private discussions, the buildout also includes several conference rooms. The large conference room is a standout feature, equipped with solid surface countertops, ample cabinetry, and large windows that flood the room with natural light.
We also constructed a dedicated training room with high-capacity seating and an epoxy floor, perfect for durable, high-traffic use.
Details That Make the Difference
Throughout the build, our team focused on high-quality finishes and energy efficiency. Most offices and common areas (including the receptionist area with its welcoming coffee bar) utilize large windows to maximize natural light, reducing reliance on artificial lighting and saving energy.
The separation between the warehouse and the new office area was carefully managed with one-hour fire-rated walls, doors, and windows, ensuring safety without sacrificing accessibility.
From the luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring in the breakrooms and restrooms to the sleek acoustical ceilings throughout the offices, every detail was chosen to create a professional yet comfortable atmosphere for the MI Metals staff.
