The finish line is in sight for the pre-engineered metal buildings at the Polk Septage Receiving Station in Winter Haven. Since our last update on this project, the crew has made significant progress across the site, with the Butler Manufacturing buildings closing in on completion and the operations building continuing to take shape.
This project is being completed on behalf of C&T Contracting Services, a Tampa Bay-based firm specializing in structural concrete and masonry with a strong background in water and wastewater infrastructure.
Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings Near Completion
Two of the eight Butler Manufacturing canopy structures on site are complete, having received their trim, gutters, and downspouts.

On the back building, crews are actively installing components, with trim, gutters, and downspouts still to come on the structure in the foreground.

Four of the eight canopies are visible here, each awaiting trim, gutters, and downspouts before they are finished. We expect all eight pre-engineered metal buildings to be complete by the end of the month.

Operations Building Taking Shape
The operations building is progressing on the exterior front as well. Plywood and peel-and-stick membrane are in place, with metal roof panel installation as the next step. The exterior block walls are ready to receive the stucco finish. The operations building should wrap up in around two months, so stay tuned for a full update on the completed project!
