It’s always a rewarding moment when we finish a major build and see the space come alive. We’re thrilled to announce that the highly anticipated campus gymnasium at Victory Ridge Academy in Davenport is now complete and operational for students and staff. This project represents our deep commitment to building high-quality, highly functional spaces for our local communities.
A Facility Built for Athletic Pride
The new gymnasium offers everything a modern athletic program needs to succeed. We furnished the space with four ceiling-mounted retractable basketball hoops and four carbon-fiber volleyball court systems, complete with padded referee stands for competitive play.
Keeping track of the action is easy now, thanks to three new basketball scoreboards featuring an LED team name message center and a fully integrated control system.
We also installed a comprehensive, fully integrated sound system with speakers and intercoms seamlessly integrated into the ceiling. To tie the entire space together, “Home Of The Pride” is boldly written across the floor to welcome every player and fan who enters.
Moving Forward With Phase 2 Construction
As we mentioned in our previous update, Phase 2 construction officially started on January 5th. The site quickly reverted to an active construction program. Our crews are currently working hard to deliver four essential new buildings during this phase:
- The Upper Level Classroom (ULC): This new academic building will house students in grades 6-12.
- The Cafeteria: Built as a continuation of the gymnasium and locker room complex, this space will give students and staff a dedicated area to gather, eat lunch, and fellowship.
- Covered Play Pavilion: This Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) serves as an outdoor gymnasium, allowing students to enjoy sports while protected from the elements.
- Skills Lab: Also a PEMB structure, this facility gives older students and young adults a place to learn independent life and career skills through hands-on instruction.
