As work continues at Victory Ridge Academy’ Davenport campus, the A.O. Wagner Construction team is picking up momentum! Phase 1 is nearing completion, with the administration building expected to be completed by the end of November, making way for occupancy. The gymnasium is slated for completion at the end of December. Here are the updates on the project’s features.
Early Learning Center Kitchen
One of the newest features inside the Early Learning Center is the new serving kitchen. It will use the latest industrial equipment to streamline the serving process, helping with efficiency, cleanliness, and durability, to create a welcoming environment. That addition will make lunchtime a more enjoyable and hassle-free area for the students and staff.
Administration Building Nearly Done
In the admin building, we’re happy to share that all flooring has now been installed, including carpet tiles in offices and public areas. The clinic area is all set and ready for students and staff to use comfortably. At the reception, the millwork has solid-surface countertops and vibrant Victory Ridge Academy blue accents that are currently being put in place. Outside, the painted steel poles in the signature blue coloring have already been added.
Gymnasium & Site Features
In the gymnasium, the flooring and equipment are almost ready, with the locker rooms next on the list. The exposed blue ductwork adds a unique architectural touch visible from the service area. Outside, the east-side canopy is being put in place to mark the walkways and give shelter from the weather. Fencing and the flagpole area are also being completed, making the space even more welcoming.
Looking Ahead to Phase 2
With Phase 1 closing fast, attention is now turning toward Phase 2, which is set to begin at the start of the new year. This next phase will include four additional buildings and two custom playgrounds that will be designed for the student population the Victory Ridge Academy serves. Given our construction team’s pace with this progress, the campus will make a smooth transition into the next wave of construction.
