The Jenkins Lincoln project in Lakeland is advancing on multiple fronts across the property. Since our last update on this build, the crew has made significant progress on the second-floor parts mezzanine and has begun renovations to the Craftsman offices. Here is a look at where things stand:
Second-Floor Mezzanine for Parts Operations
The structural steel work supporting the new second-floor mezzanine has been installed. A full steel staircase now leads up to the mezzanine level for a clean, finished look. At the top, steel railing runs the length of the mezzanine edge, securing the perimeter of the new parts operations floor above.
To support the mezzanine floor during construction, shoring is currently in place across the ground level while the concrete pour is scheduled for the coming week. Our metal fabricators also installed custom-fabricated joists into the existing roof deck alongside the original bar joists, creating the clearance needed for parts storage above. The original bar joists are to the right in the picture below.
Craftsman Office Renovations
The Craftsman offices are being updated inside and out. On the interior, new architectural metal wall sheets are going up alongside new windows and doors. Outside, a new storefront door and windows are installed, bringing a more polished, contemporary look to the exterior of the office space that carries through to the finished building design.
A Look at the Finished Vision
The rendering below shows what the completed Jenkins Lincoln facility will look like once all phases of this major remodel and expansion are complete. The finished facility will position Jenkins Lincoln for long-term success in Lakeland and the surrounding region and create a tailored experience for every client who walks through the door.
