You may recall a project we did in 2024 for Regions Facility Services in Brooksville. The client was so pleased with the A.O. Wagner team‘s work that they became a repeat client! Now, we’re working on an interior buildout at their Brooksville facility for a future client.
Project Overview
Construction began in mid-February and is expected to be completed by mid-July. The project involves transforming a 1,224-square-foot space inside the RFS building. The sections include a reception area, conference room, offices, and modern restrooms, all within a modern, professional setting designed to accommodate flexible tenant use.
Reception Area and Warehouse Transition
The project began in late February, and progress has been consistent and uninterrupted. Inside the front entrance, the framework for the reception area is now in place, complete with ductwork running overhead. Additionally, the space opens into a larger warehouse area, indicating the seamless blend of function and office flow.
Corridor and Fire-Rated Wall Construction
Heading down the main corridor, tenants and guests will pass a full-height 2-hour firewall, a key element providing critical protection and separation between key spaces. This wall upgrade enhances overall building safety and is designed to meet strict fire code compliance for commercial interiors.
Mechanical Room and Utility Framing
Mechanical and utility systems are also underway. A dedicated mechanical room has been framed to house equipment and infrastructure. Meanwhile, more minor but no less critical details, such as the backing for the future drinking fountain and fire-rated assemblies around switches, have been installed.
Framing Complete Drywall Next
Throughout the space, metal framing is now complete, and drywall is up next. This stage sets the foundation for interior finishes, bringing the project one step closer to a clean, functional, and tenant-ready environment.
Looking Ahead to July Completion
The finished upgrade will match our client’s blend of function, durability, and quality style. Each detail is being built with flexibility in mind to suit a wide range of future tenants. We’ll share updates if anything changes along the way.
