The interior buildout of the Florida Brewery expansion in Auburndale is complete. Since our last update, the A.O. Wagner Construction team has taken the new two-story, 7,100-square-foot NUCOR pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) from framed walls and rough-ins to finished, fully functional spaces. Here is a look at what the team delivered.
The Finished Exterior
The completed building ties directly into the existing Florida Brewery facility, presenting a clean, purpose-built addition from the outside. The NUCOR pre-engineered metal building is fully enclosed and finished, ready to support the brewery’s expanded operations.

First Floor: Lobby, Reception, and Common Areas
Step inside and the attention to detail is clear across every space. The entrance lobby sets the tone for the entire buildout, featuring polished concrete flooring, new framed walls, drywall, paint, an acoustical ceiling system, lighting, and a full HVAC system. A new entrance door leads to the stairwell connecting both floors.

The reception area matches the same finish level as the lobby, creating a consistent, professional feel from the front door through the rest of the first floor.

The visitor conference room features the same finishing features along with a new storefront partition and accent wall paint that gives the space a distinct, finished character that aligns with the company’s brand identity.

The employee meeting area provides a dedicated space for the team to gather, collaborate, and connect outside of the production floor. Just down the hall, the coffee bar and printing area gives employees a place to recharge during the day. All three spaces are finished to the same specification as the rest of the floor.

The breakroom takes that same idea further, giving employees a fully equipped place to take a real break. It received a full kitchen build-out, including new cabinets, plastic laminate countertops, a new sink with disposal and plumbing, and electrical receptacles for kitchen accessories and future vending machines.

The employee restroom features new ADA plumbing fixtures and bath accessories, wall tile, and polished concrete flooring.

Connecting the Floors
Two stairwells connect the first and second floors, each finished out to match the rest of the buildout.

Second Floor: Offices, Breakroom, and Conference Room
Upstairs, the second floor houses the brewery’s administrative team in a fully finished and functioning office environment.

Employee offices, the second-floor breakroom, and the employee conference room all have the same level of detailed finishing including polished concrete floors, new framed walls, drywall, paint, acoustical ceilings, lighting, and HVAC throughout.

Every detail on the second floor was designed with the people using it in mind. From the conference room to the breakroom, each space reflects the same level of care and craftsmanship that runs through all 7,100 square feet of this buildout.
