Pre-Engineered Metal Building Repairs in Winter Haven
The first project took place at Winter Haven’s Recker Highway Business Center, where a pre-engineered metal building sustained damage when it was struck by a truck. The impact damaged the parapet section and the overhead door jamb trim.
Our job was to carefully remove the damaged metal sheeting and framing before installing new materials to restore the building to its original condition. The parapet section required particular attention because damage at that point can compromise weather protection and aesthetics. Even though the damage to the overhead door jamb trim was subtle and located about halfway up the jam, it still needed precise repair to ensure a clean finish. The work was completed in just one day.
The project is a perfect example of how repairs that may seem small still require experience and precise execution.
Rooftop Exhaust Fan Installation in Lakeland
The second project was at a maintenance shop in Lakeland, where we furnished and installed two rooftop exhaust fans with curbs on an existing roof. This work entailed cutting into the roof, installing curbs with flashing, assembling the fans, and securing them on the curbs.
Completed in two days, the small install called for careful coordination to ensure proper ventilation. The result: An efficient upgrade that improves airflow in the shop.
