Central Florida is growing quickly, and with that expansion comes the need for high-quality infrastructure to support its local residents and businesses.
We’re proud to help with these sorts of projects, and we’re thrilled to share the progress on one of our recent projects: SR60 Storage. This locally owned and operated facility represents years of planning, site development, and precision construction, all designed to serve the Bartow community.
After breaking ground in August 2025, its expected completion date is April 2026.



Project Goals
This 39,000-square-foot facility is fully climate-controlled to make sure customers’ belongings stay protected year-round. Our team installed 42 tons of commercial-grade air conditioning, engineered to consistently maintain 78 degrees and keep humidity below 60 percent, which is necessary for protecting everything from sensitive documents to furniture.
Security was another major deliverable: Over 40 surveillance cameras blanket the property, supported by high-visibility LED lighting around the building, so renters have peace of mind day and night.
For practicality’s sake, we built a single-story facility with a direct-access design. Renters benefit from a main entry that leads straight to their units with no elevators, stairs, or winding hallways. This approach saves time, reduces hassle on moving day, and makes it easy for tenants to load or unload items regardless of their unit size.




Speaking of options, we also constructed a full range of units, from compact 5×10 spaces for boxes and documents, all the way up to spacious 15×30 units capable of storing business inventory or household furniture. We wanted to make sure the facility met a wide set of needs for Bartow’s growing community.


Construction and Materials
For this project, we chose a custom pre-engineered steel package from PEAK Steel Buildings, something that offers superior performance and efficiency from start to finish. Every component (roof and wall panels, full trim and sill kits, and stamped, permit-ready drawings) was delivered to specification.



By using only heavy structural steel I-Beams, we eliminated the maintenance issues associated with lighter-gauge systems or wood framing. This also allowed us to speed up the build, maintain strict quality control, and meet all current durability codes.
