A Polk County distribution center is receiving a well-earned upgrade to its breakroom and other parts of the building. What our A.O. Wagner team began in Lakeland in early July is now wrapping up, with improvements to several rooms aimed at improving comfort, functionality, and accessibility.
Stylish Breakroom Renovation
The breakroom is getting a total upgrade. Luxury vinyl plank flooring has been installed throughout the space. New cabinets line the walls, offering both practicality and modern style. The final result is a room that feels bright and durable, built for high traffic and long-lasting use.
Dispatch Area Gets a Practical Window Upgrade
One interesting detail: a custom glass sliding window was installed in the dispatch area to allow clear visual communication to improve workflow. It’s a small but impactful change that benefits employees throughout their workday.
Upstairs Offices & Conference Room Renovation
Upstairs, four offices and a large conference room are being fully renovated. The updated spaces are being designed with materials and layouts that provide comfort. New flooring, windows, doors, and even a mini-bar area are part of the upgrade. These improvements reduce maintenance needs and offer a modern work environment.
ADA-Compliant Restroom Receives Updated Accessories
The new ADA-compliant bathroom is almost finished. It includes Kohler fixtures, new floor tile, and stylish wainscoting along the walls. These finishes do more than look nice; each one meets accessibility standards, so everyone, regardless of their mobility, feels welcome and safe.
Finish Line in Sight
Work is scheduled to be finished by the end of next week, which includes painting, installing trim, and making final adjustments. Once complete, these spaces will not only look great but also function well, offering improved acoustics, easier cleaning, and lighting that supports both work and relaxation.
