At A.O. Wagner Construction, we like sharing updates about our building projects. In addition, our team installs a range of doors and windows that we want to show you. Each opening is tailored to the building’s needs and complies with Florida Building Code Chapter 10 Means of Egress, SECTION 1010 Doors, Gates, and Turnstiles.
ALDI Distribution Center – Haines City
We removed a worn-out exterior door, frame, and slab. We installed a new hollow metal door and framing kit directly into the concrete block. The opening has a push-bar exit device for easy egress, a continuous geared hinge that eliminates door sagging, a spring-loaded hydraulic door closer, and a stainless steel kick plate protecting the threshold.

Local Distributor Gets Alarmed Exit Upgrade
A local distributor also received an upgraded hollow metal door. We installed a Detex V40 EB Alarmed Rim Exit Device push bar on the door, providing emergency access exiting while securing the perimeter. The bar also has a keyed mortise lock cylinder to quickly activate or deactivate the alarm, prioritizing access control and life safety.
New Overhead Door at Carpenter Contractors of America
We cut an opening into an existing building’s metal exterior wall to install a new overhead door. After removing the secondary framing, the opening was reframed for the door’s installation. Once installed, metal trim was added to conceal the modifications and provide a finished appearance.
Walk Door Installation at the Florida Armory
Similar to the overhead door project, we installed three new walk doors. After cutting and framing the new openings in the pre-engineered metal building, each door was installed and fully trimmed with clean, professional finishes. The hardware used was Grade 2 keyed lever handles and single-cylinder keyed deadbolts for easy access and safety.
Storefront Doors and Window Replacements
In other building sections, we often update and install new out-swinging aluminum-style glass doors to replace the older or outdated units. These storefront doors have adjustable offset pivots that raise or lower the door inside its frame. Matching windows are also included to enhance curb appeal and interior light.
