The church had an existing walkway that was beyond repair. We demolished the walkway and are rebuilding it with wood framing and design features that match the aesthetics of the church. The old walkway sat on a 20-foot-by-20-foot concrete slab; we’re repurposing the slab by building a new gazebo over it.
The new gazebo is being built with wood framing and metal rib 12 roof sheeting so that it matches up perfectly with the church itself. For an added touch, we’ll be adding a bell tower to the top of the gazebo, and then installing the church’s bell on top. Let’s take a look at how the project is shaping up so far!
We started in on this project this past November, and work is going smoothly so far. We expect this project to be fully completed by the end of January, and then Saint Agnes Episcopal Church’s congregation will be able to enjoy the beautiful new gazebo and greatly improved walkway.
