Phase 2 of Ten-8 Fire and Safety Remodel Nears Completion

From Wildwood and Brooksville to Groveland and Bradenton, A.O. Wagner Construction is helping businesses in Central and North Central Florida reach their potential with customized construction. You may remember back in February we began work on a project for Bradenton’s Ten-8 Fire and Safety. Phase 1 required a remodel of the outer office space, and phase 2 sees us constructing a new training room and an additional larger office. We previously shared an update when we finished phase 1, and now we have another update as phase 2 approaches completion.

Currently, the interior electrical work is nearly done. We have replaced all of the old fluorescent lights with LEDs, equipped meeting rooms and restrooms with occupancy sensors, and installed dimmer switches for the meeting rooms. We’ve also repoured the underground electrical for the new reception desk.

To ensure phase 2 matches phase 1, we’ve put on a new coat of bright white paint throughout.

In the conference room, we put in a black accent wall for the TV.

In the main lobby, our framers have hung concrete board in preparation for the thin brick we’ll be putting in. We’ve also replaced the old ceiling tiles, which were almost 30 years old.

The front entry area now boasts a fresh coat of paint, new tile, and a new header to support a storefront entry into the main lobby. Soon we’ll be installing the new storefront and extending the black and white tile into the main lobby.

The second-floor break room’s new flooring and vinyl base provide a nice facelift for the upstairs tenants.

Our next steps for this project include:

  • Pouring concrete for the newly remodeled restrooms
  • Installing new bathroom tile
  • Finishing the flooring with LVP throughout the rest of phase 2
  • Replacing all the old exterior and parking lights with new bright LED fixtures
  • Installing new diamond plate baseboards for the training room

Once completed, the newly remodeled building will be the perfect space for Ten-8, blending form and function for ideal functionality. If your company needs to create a space better suited to your industry and particular needs, contact A.O. Wagner Construction today.
