Our A.O. Wagner Construction team continues moving quickly with the Edward Jones interior remodel in Lake Wales, which started in February and is scheduled to be completed at the end of April 2025.
This project, covering roughly 4,000 square feet, is now well into the build-out phase following the initial demolition we previously detailed in a March blog post. This latest update includes new details about the project and the team’s progress.
Office Framing and Logo Wall In Place
The project scope includes selective demolition, new office framing, ceiling work, fresh finishes, mechanical relocations, and ADA compliance and aesthetics upgrades. A key design element (the Edward Jones logo wall) is now framed, with drywall installed and ready for finishing and texture. Once completed, this feature will serve as a polished visual anchor in the reception area.
Bathroom Upgrades and Accessibility Improvements
The bathroom’s old Wainscot tile was demolished, and the floor has been cut to accommodate new plumbing layouts. One of the primary upgrades here was relocating the toilet to meet ADA requirements, a critical step toward modernizing the space. The walls have been skim-coated and are now ready for ceramic tile installation, providing a durable and modern finish. A new door was installed in one of the bathrooms, which our team will paint and add the hardware to later.
Office Layout and Reception Area Transformation
The metal stud framing for the new office spaces is up, and drywall was installed and roughed in for electrical. The existing counter in the front reception area was partially removed and reworked to fit the new layout. Work will soon move into the texturing and painting stages.
Looking Ahead as Completion Nears
This remodel is on track for completion by the end of April, with each phase building toward a thoroughly modern, accessible, and highly functional office space tailored for the Edward Jones team and their clients. Stay tuned for the next update coming soon!
